October 10 – November 10, 2013

Reception Saturday, October 19, 5–7 pm

Artist Talk Tuesday, October 22, 5–7 pm

‘breaking open’ alludes to many experiences – discovery, violation, achievement – all of which relate to the work in this exhibit. Artists Virginia Fitzgerald and Anne Gilson have created mixed media and 3D pieces for this show that are provocative, intended to prompt a reexamination of  old ideas or beliefs.

A few examples of artwork from the exhibit are below.  To find out more about a piece or to make a purchase, please contact us at fountainstfineart@gmail.com

Artist Talk, Sept. 22, 2012

Saturday's gallery talk was a stimulating conversation about process, influence and inspiration. Several of us commented afterward on how much we crave the chance to have just this kind of dialogue with other artists We've got to do this more often!

Exhibiting artists Ruth Scotch, Catherine Carter and Tim McDonald
A lively discussion
Catherine Carter talks about her process.
Ruth Scotch talks is effusive about her subject matter!

This exhibit has been extended through October 5.
Stop by and have a look!
